One of my favorite stories is Tim Pratt's "Little Gods", published on my birthday back in 2002, just three days after Avadore was born.

This little story is a special one for me in many, many ways. Perhaps I'll talk about some of them sometime, but for now I just wanted to share.

thank you. today it was timely, today is one year since we were told of my fal's cancer, and i got a glimmer of his passing, and closed myself off to everything but caring for him. not quite a year till when i lost him....

i've lost 3 sweethearts to death. its either be grateful for what i DID have, or go crazy... *smiles softly*
