I did about 1,000 words on the new short story last night. Actually, I did more than that; I tried two beginnings -- one with showing not telling and detail, and one that turned into a massive, boring infodump, so there you go. I was teh productive ;). I would have actually been even more productive if I'd started writing right when the kids went to bed instead of doing some cleaning and a little reading, but there must be other things than writing in one's life, I suppose.
