quest for the pipe
Sep. 14th, 2005 09:23 pmI finished the story I started yesterday. It's done, done, done.
Okay, that's a lie. Draft #2 is done, done, done.
I'm going to let it sit for a bit and then pass it on to first readers and then my crit group. And then I'll do some more revisions and then throw it out the door.
So when I said, "Done, done, done" it was a lie.
The story ended up being about 6,500 words, but is now about 5,400.
What next...
Another story wanting to be written, perhaps. And I need to get back to the Paperdoll novel.
Last week was a good writing week. I wrote part of another short story (the one that wants to be written), I rewrote and expanded a short story, I rewrote/edited two other short stories and wrote a review. This one is off to an excellent start.Of course, who knows if any of it is good?
Oh well. Let's hope I keep up the momentum.
