My best friend from junior high and high school just wrote to tell me she's ordered a copy of Scattered, Covered, Smothered and can't wait to read my story.

It's a weird feeling. Really, it is. But it's kind of a good feeling, too. Someone is buying a book because my story is in it.

I think she'll like the book; there's a lot of excellent stuff in there.
