how do I describe or explain

the relationship I've developed with my Clarion West classmates? There is a love I have for them all that I have never experienced before. There is a respect and admiration I've never experienced before.
Those six weeks in Seattle may end up being six of the most important weeks of my life purely because of the relationships I forged there.
This is something I never expected to happen.
I talked on the phone with one of my fellow classmates, the amazing Pritpaul Baines, last night. We talked about how a lot of things happened to us there that we never expected. We talked about how our lives changed in ways we hadn't expected. And we wouldn't change what happened to us for the world.
I have been working on a short novel, purely just to get words down on paper. It feels good to still be consistently writing. I had an excellent writing day today in terms of quantity -- 4,400 words. Just gearing up for November, I expect.
I should have mentioned this before, but both Rajan Khanna and Carlton Mellick III (two classmates) were listed as Honorable Mentions in the most recent edition of The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. Perhaps you can understand how insanely proud I am of both of them.
I promise, as the years go on, you will be seeing more and more of my classmate's names in such esteemed anthologies.
