I want to thank everyone who has spread the word and/or donated to the Clarion West laptop fund. Laptops will be purchased today so the students can move on.

We are all incredibly touched by the kind generosity of the SFF community. It has been said here several times over the past few days that the love and support we've received makes us want to be members of this community even more than we did when we came.

A couple of weeks ago Connie Willis told one of my classmates and I that the SFF community is like a family. And you know, she's right.

I've never had a family like this before, and I really don't know what to say. If I could I would hug and kiss you all.
