Usually my kids are quite good, but today they are INSANE.
I think I've eaten a Pop-Tart once in my life, but suddenly I realize why people might eat them everyday... So instead of giving into my baser instincts and making brownies for breakfast, I'm eating a chunky peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat with blackberry preserves and half a banana. It's like dessert. But not.
Speaking of baser instincts... Recently I ran into some soy milk where the first three ingredients were water, sugar, and high fructose corn syrup. This is, of course, wrong on so many levels. It reminded me of the time the dorm food service where I went to college served tofu fried in bacon grease.
Breakfast has left me feeling better, but sometimes we also need a little Harvey Danger.
