Into the Woods
Mar. 29th, 2006 08:40 pmThere hasn't been a lot of writing lately, not since the weekend. It's a very sad state of affairs.
Rice is home, finally, though we don't know for how long yet. We have been doing a lot of work on the house while he's here. This means there has been little writing, little walking with the dog, little lots of the fun stuff. Tomorrow we will recommence with some of the things that bring joy to life. You know, like writing.
In the meantime, "Into the Woods" has been accepted for Say... what's the combination?. I must admit that I have often thought it would be mighty snazzy to have a story in one of the Say... series. And this time I saw the prompt and thought, "I think I have something for them...". I am mighty excited. And I can't wait to read what other stories will be in this issue.
Other items: The Allusionists are no longer, at least for now. Had an other writing group option, but it fizzled before it formed. We'll hang tight, hang out, wait and see what happens, and in the mean time, work on some more stories.
